Devoted to a single topic.
Poster Session Visual displays set up in an open area, representing clinical or research aspects of Speech-Language Pathology and/or Audiology.

KSHA's policies for accepting papers:
The Program Committee will be guided in the selection of the pages by quality, distribution on subject matter, timelines, content, popular demand, program balance, and broad-based membership participation.  Speakers must present in the time period and format assigned by the Program Committee.  Proposals which are incomplete or which to don't follow the guidelines will be returned to the primary presenter for completion or correction.  KSHA does not accept late submissions.  Please observe all deadlines.

If your proposal is accepted:
The appropriate Program Chair will notify you of interest in your topic promptly and will discuss compensation policies and days/times of your presentation. Chosen speakers will receive a "Memorandum of Understanding" confirming the details of their presentation (s).

Call for Papers Deadline is: August 1, 2009.


Handout Information:

Handouts: In the interest of defraying some of the expense associated with presenting at the conference, KSHA  will be posting presenter's handouts to the website prior to the Conference.  

  1. Handouts must sent in an electronic format to the KSHA Office.
  2. Omit unnecessary images and photos.  Include only those relevant to the topic.  If your presentation contains a large number of images resulting in a large file, we may find it necessary to convert your handouts to text only.
  3. Handouts are limited to 20 pages.
  4. Forward handouts to ksha@kysha.org no later than December 30, 2009.  Handouts will be posted online two weeks prior to the conference.
